Tommy “Too Busy” Samuels

Tommy Samuels is a lifetime fisherman who has been a certified kayak nut for over 20 years. He spends his time on the water chasing redfish, trout and flounder in the creeks and marshes near Charleston, SC where he owns and operates Kayak Fish SC guide service.

Tommy typically competes in 6 to 8 tournaments per year as a member of the Kayak Bass Fishing, Wilderness Systems Kayaks, Okuma, and Z-Man Pro Staff. He also offers several kayak fishing seminars each year at local outfitters and tackle shops as well as teaching classes at the East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival.

He enjoys writing about his passion for fishing. He is a staff writer for the Charleston Edition of Coastal Angler Magazine and has contributed pieces to Kayak Angler Magazine. You’ll also find him chiming in on kayak fishing topics on several fishing forums in the Southeast.
